About Hyren

Hyren is the new green hydrogen platform created by Matrix Renewables, a global renewable energy platform created and backed by global alternative asset manager TPG and its $19 billion impact investing platform TPG Rise.

Backed by a proven track record and extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, which has led it to manage more than 15 GW of renewable power, as well as 60 years in the hydrogen sector, Hyren is aiming at the development of a pipeline of more than 4000 MW in Spain, whose construction, management and operation will also be carried out by the platform.

Hyren is poised for fast growth in an emerging field underpinned by national and European policies aimed at decarbonization across all sectors of the economy. To achieve this the company is assembling a multidisciplinary and energetic team of individuals.

tB is reached as scheduled. Delivery of key project milestones, budget and returns committed with our investors is the main key responsibility of this role.

Facilitating and coordinating a proper and structed relationship with other departments in Hyren and Matrix as well as external partners to ensure that the Development team receives the required support to undertake all related activities. Achieving a seamless communication flow is considered essential for this position.

Establish and review development budgets, schedules, review work scopes, review and manage RFIs. The candidate shall control the funding activities and budgeting to follow what is stipulated in the contracts.

Ensure that all projects in the Hyren portfolio have updated financial models by collecting the technical, markets and development inputs to guarantee that projects meet with Hyren investors criteria.

Preliminary analysis of required equipment and infrastructure necessary for the successful execution of a H2 project

Negotiate collaboration agreements with potential partners and key specialised suppliers

Manage reporting efficiently on time and with the expected requirements.

Management of community and public relations in respect of the projects in Hyren´s portfolio.

The candidate should have experience working with stakeholders and be able to manage sometimes difficult or confrontational situations and renegotiate the existing agreements when it may be required to preserve Hyren´s interests and risk exposure. Industry contacts with developers, electric utilities and service providers will also be required.

Help implement ESG Company policy at local level in compliance with modern standards, regulations, and best industry practices. Flag any ESG issues as soon as possible, gather information related to them and where instructed interact with stakeholders if appropriate.
