Backed by a proven track record and extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, which has led it to manage more than 15 GW of renewable power, as well as 60 years in the hydrogen sector, Hyren is aiming at the development of a pipeline of more than 4000 MW in Spain, whose construction, management and operation will also be carried out by the platform.

The Role and Responsibilities

This role, which reports to the Project Development Manager, will be a key member of this team. Based in Madrid, the role will oversee the development and progress of projects within the company´s portfolio and take them to completion. He/she will have overall responsibility for the success of a project and will serve as the main point of contact for outside partners, as well as coordinator for all other team members inside the company. More specifically, responsibilities will include:

  • Develop plans and estimates for projects, including equipment and construction pricing, labor rates and schedules, and productivity estimates
  • Establish and review development and construction budgets, schedules, review work scopes, review and manage RFIs
  • Analyse project viability and coordinate project development and engineering teams
  • Preliminary analysis of required equipment and infrastructure necessary for the successful execution of a H2 project
  • Negotiate collaboration agreements with potential partners and key specialised suppliers
  • Perform commercial and technical contract reviews for construction and procurement contracts
  • Review and negotiate project change orders

The Requirements

Proven experience in the energy sector in roles of project origination, negotiation, planning and management

Preferred relevant experience in the hydrogen sector

Commitment to teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong communication skills

University degree

High level of English

More than 5 years of professional experience
